Darling Nikki

 
     Nikki Giovanni has been writing poetry and agitating for civil rights her whole life, often at the same time. She was dubbed the "Poet of the Black Revolution" decades ago. She beat cancer, has more awards to her name than Tom Hanks, and once told the folks at NASA -- to their faces -- to put more non-white people into space. So, under the constant threat of police harassment (especially in the region where she lives), is Nikki Giovanni afraid to speak publicly about the Black Lives Matter movement?
